Analyze your Putting

Like a Tour Player

The putting lab is one of the nations’ finest putting studios.  The lab is a 670 square foot climate–controlled room that contains a 420 square foot putting green, a Scotty Cameron loft and lie machine, and three of the most high tech putting teaching devices available; The Dynamic Impact Indicator, the Sam Put Lab, and the Sam Balance Lab.  By combining these devices, how the putter swings through the golf ball can be pinpointed precisely.  All of this quantifies exactly what is taking place during your putting stroke.

The Dynamic Impact Indicator is a patent pending device invented by, Kevin. The Dynamic Impact Indicator uses laser technology to pinpoint the exact aim of the putter at address and impact.  High speed cameras film from 5 different angles to capture the putters path, impact with the ball, spin rate of the golf ball and follow through.  By analyzing this video using the latest in computer software we can see your aim, backswing path, downswing path, impact, and follow through.

The Sam PuttLab is a revolutionary product that utilizes state of the art ultrasound technology and specific mathematic algorithms for precise measurement of 28 parameters of your putting stroke and displays the results in easy to understand graphic reports.  Among the many parameters measured are the amount of putter face rotation through the swing, the rate at which the putter face rotates, and the velocity of the backswing and downswing.

Players from the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour,  Champions Tour, and The LPGA Tour as well as many Illinois PGA Professionals have sought out Kevin to use the Dynamic Impact Indicator.  PGA Tour winner, Dickey Pride used the system the day before posting a 7 under par, 65 for a share of the first round lead at the 2004 LaSalle Bank Open held at The Glen Club.

After filming, the video footage is fed into two computers. Data is then integrated and analyzed by Kevin in detail that was previously unavailable.  Sara Janicik (Knox College 2007), is having her putting analyzed by Kevin.  Data on the left is created from the Dynamic Impact Indicator, while the right computer shows data from The Sam+ PuttLab.

Adam Saban (Lockport H.S. All-State as a freshman) is having his putting stroke filmed using high-speed cameras on the Dynamic Impact Indicator. The putting stroke is filmed from many angles to analyze every aspect of your stroke, including loft, lie, direction, and impact to the exact degree.
